  • Where is Sunray Motor Inn located?

    We’re at 96 McDougall Street, Toowoomba, Queensland — just a few minutes’ drive from the Toowoomba CBD, directly opposite the Toowoomba Aerodrome, and close to Toowoomba City Airport. Our location makes it easy to explore Toowoomba’s gardens, cafés, and the Darling Downs region.

  • What are your check-in and check-out times?

    Check-in is from 2:00pm to 8:00pm, and check-out is by 10:00am. If you’re arriving outside these hours, please call ahead on 07 4634 2200 so we can arrange a smooth arrival for you.

  • Can I request an early check-in or late check-out?

    Yes — early check-in and late check-out can be requested at the time of booking and are offered subject to availability. Guests who book direct are always the first we try to accommodate.

  • Is parking available?

    Absolutely. We offer complimentary undercover parking.

  • Is Wi-Fi included?

    Yes — Wi-Fi is complimentary for all guests throughout the property, including every room and outdoor areas.

  • What amenities come with the rooms?

    All of our rooms are fully air-conditioned and recently refurbished, and include:

    • Comfortable queen bedding with quality linen.
    • Private bathroom with a walk-in shower, a hair dryer, and bath sheets.
    • Flat-screen TV.
    • Tea and coffee making facilities, bar fridge, crockery and cutlery, and microwave.

    Yes. We offer family rooms that can sleep up to four guests.

  • Is the motel pet-friendly?

    We have two dedicated pet-friendly rooms located next to our fenced dog exercise yard. All pets must be approved in advance, so please contact us on accom@sunraymotorinn.com.au or 07 4634 2200 before booking.

    Yes — guests enjoy complimentary access to our saltwater swimming pool, summer terrace, and picnic space. It’s a great spot to unwind after a day on the road or exploring Toowoomba.

    We’re only minutes from Toowoomba’s CBD, major shopping at Clifford Gardens and Grand Central, a variety of restaurants and cafés, the Japanese Gardens at USQ, Picnic Point Lookout, and the Carnival of Flowers grounds. Our team is always happy to share local tips and recommendations at check-in.

  • What’s your cancellation policy?

    When you book direct, we offer flexible cancellation up to 24 hours before your arrival date for standard rate bookings. Discounted or non-refundable rates have different terms, which are clearly shown at the time of booking. Reservations made through third-party sites such as Booking.com are subject to that site’s cancellation rules — another reason booking direct often gives you more peace of mind.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), EFTPOS, and direct bank transfer for longer stays and corporate accounts. A valid credit card is required at check-in as security for any incidental charges.
